The latest round of fighting near the Strait of Hormuz, as American forces attempt to reopen it and Iran struggles to keep it closed, has mostly driven the largest conflict in Europe since World War II out of the headlines.
Russia's effort is faltering due to Ukraine's doggedness, AND innovation. Western military and financial help has allowed Ukrainians to develop new drone and automated capabilities that are gaining them the initiative in their battle with their far larger neighboring aggressor. Just this last week, Ukrainian drone strikes well behind the frontiers in Ukraine closed the airspace to commercial traffic between Moscow and Rostov. Now, time is on the side of the Ukrainians. And it seems to me that the Ukrainians will begin using AI to automate their targeting as well. Thus, as their production scales up (due to Western and Middle Eastern countries buying their newly developed technology) their retaliatory and offensive capabilities will ramp up exponentially. Nobody wants to be Putin, anymore.
Yet we will no doubt be pressured by the feckless Europeans and islamocommie democrats to keep giving stuff to Ukraine with the threat of we don’t the Russia will invade Poland and the Baltics.
The biggest asset both Iran and Russia have is our TDS 5th column.
Mike Watson's articles are always thoughtful, well worth reading. Thanks!
